Objective: To provide a solid overview of Intervention Well Control components and

Content Overview:

An in-depth course that provides a thorough overview of Intervention Well Control (IWC) equipment, control systems, and auxiliary components. This course is designed for oil and gas personnel with an interest in learning more about current real world applications of IWC equipment in servicing existing offshore wells. Content covered are: An Introduction to IWC equipment and Background; Review of the major Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs); Various IWC Architecture; IWC regulations; Blowout Preventers (BOPs) vs IWC; Christmas Trees; Real World Case Study Scenarios.

Course includes relevant student binders, 3D models, hands-on activities and computer animations. (Student binders, 3D models and hands-on activities provided in class room led training only)
