Subsea Technician Skills Courses

Course Objective:

Subsea Solutions, using a learning management system(LMS), has developed a suite of courses based on over four(4) decades of field experience, engineering, operations expertise, and case studies; created a significant learning environment affording currently employed aspiring subsea technicians an authentic real world experience in their career pursuits.

Duration:

Course sequences starts, continue, and taught every quarter (every 3 months), and entire sequence last 12 months.

Description of Course Rubric:

The course has 17 learning modules. The modules are broken down as follows:

Subsea Technicians Skills Courses Level 1 Part 1
Subsea Technicians Skills Courses Level 1 Part 2

Level 1 Part 1 onboard students as follows:

Modules 1 – 4 : First (1st) Quarter;

Modules 5 – 7 : Second (2nd) Quarter;

5 Days in classroom face-to-face instruction

Level 1 Part 2 see students progressing to:

Modules 1 – 5 : Third (3rd) Quarter;

Modules 6 – 10: Fourth (4th) Quarter;

5 Days in classroom face-to-face instruction

Enrolled students successfully completing the face-to-face course instruction are given access to the online component of course material for completion during their rotation on their MODU. The student’s MODU supervisor is given supervisory online access enabling monitoring/tracking of the student’s progress in completing the accompanying online material. Subsea Solutions assigned training instructor(s) administratively monitors both the student and supervisor’s course logon activities, providing assistance, facilitating scheduled forum discussions, and Q&A Parking Lot.

Accreditations:

Certificates awarded for each successful module completion, face-to-face and online.
