Subsea Solutions Intervention Presents at Well Intervention Conference
Subsea Solutions talks Intervention Well Control at 2015 Well Intervention Conference in Houston.
This year, the Offshore Well Intervention Conference, Gulf of Mexico, takes place on October 22 and 23 in Houston. The Conference will address best practices to enable operators and drilling contractors to develop an effective well intervention program that uses new technology, processes and contracting models to ensure efficient well operations.
Subsea Solutions Intervention will provide information on an Integrated Service Model (Human Factors) – A Case Study. Participants will hear how subsea training has increased awareness and understanding of Intervention Well Control and the different application types that exist to mitigate risk during operations. Through this Case Study, participants will also see how the transference of skill sets brings operators and drilling contractors together for more efficient joint venture project management and execution, review changing levels of regulatory compliance that need to be addressed, and understand why training all parties in this area is critical.
The Keynote Panel on Deepwater Well Intervention, of which Subsea Solutions Intervention will be a part, will discuss experiences from global deepwater well intervention projects and outline the key challenges that need to be addressed to drive project efficiency. In addition, the Panel will review best practices and lessons learned from international operators and drilling contractors who have vital experience that can support subsea well intervention effectiveness. An examination of the capabilities of Riserless Light Well Intervention for deepwater applications, and the benefits and challenges of this technology, will be discussed, as well.
