NBiz Magazine spotlights Subsea Solutions
Subsea Solutions was the focus of NBiz magazine’s article on the use of 3-dimensional (3D) modeling in industry.
Subsea Solutions makes extensive use of physical 3D models of well-control equipment in its one- and two-day training courses, Subsea 100 and Subsea 101.
The models, which are designed and manufactured in-house, allow the students to physically look inside the equipment and see its inner workings. There are also larger models that can be disassembled, and even three-foot high models of entire blowout preventer (BOP) stacks.
The models can also be used for reference when having technical discussions with clients or when performing troubleshooting.
