A three-day course covering intervention well control equipment and control systems. This class discusses the importance of well-intervention operations; performance during or at the end of a well's productive life; and how the design of the equipment is different from, and incorporates today's BOP systems. Recommended Prerequisite: Subsea 101 / Subsea 102 and / or some electronics-electrical background. This course is designed for oil and gas personnel involved with intervention well control. Course includes relevant students’ hands-on in class group exercises and activities.
