  • BOP MUX CONTROL SYSTEMS for Contractors and Operators

    SubseaSolutionsTraining An intensive three-day course providing an in-depth look at the multiplex (MUX) systems used to control the blowout preventer (BOP) on modern offshore drilling rigs. Different equipment manufacturers are presented detailing the differences between their designs. The course is culminated with a hands-on working session preforming realistic system troubleshooting on a MUX system simulator.

    Open to Operators and Drilling Contractors personnel (Oil and Gas). Course includes relevant students’ hands-on in class group exercises and activities with Subsea Solutions BOP MUX Simulator.

    This IADC-accredited course is a one-day well-control equipment primer that provides students with the history and anatomy of onshore and offshore drilling rigs. Different types of drilling rigs are covered and students receive a solid overview of BOP components and control systems. A hands on experience, students have the opportunity to test their knowledge, skills, and abilities by assembling a subsea BOP stack made from our in-house printed 3D models.
